Draper B1 achieves new exit with Signaturit following startup agreement with Providence Fund

The first Draper fund in the euro zone, Draper B1 – the former Valencian venture capital manager Bbooster Ventures – has just achieved a new exit with one of its startups. Signaturit has invested in the US fund Providence Strategic Growth, which will now drive its uninterrupted growth and accelerate its expansion process in Europe. Signaturit is a platform that provides individuals and companies with a solution for requesting and performing electronic signatures characterised by its ease of use and legal validity. This is how it entered the ecosystem of the Valencian company Bbooster in 2016, obtained a second reinvestment from the Valencian management company in 2019 and at this moment they can announce this exit after fulfilling the objectives.

The new moment for Catalan startups -which reduce the paperwork by receiving a document and signing it to return it- is the recent agreement with the United States fund Providence Strategic Growth (PSG), the growth capital subsidiary of the leading asset management firm Providence Equity Partners (Providence). According to Signaturit, the Americans have announced the signing of a majority investment by PSG-managed funds in Signaturit, a leading Spanish technology company providing trusted services for electronic document signature, delivery and user identification based in Barcelona.
