Valencian startups generate 140 million euros in business

A report reveals that startups based in Valencia generate 140 million euros in business and have boosted the creation of 8,000 direct and indirect jobs. The analysis adds that Valencia is the fastest growing entrepreneurial ecosystem in Spain, 29% in 2018. Furthermore, Alicante, Elx and Valencia have consolidated themselves as three innovation poles that are taking advantage of the synergies between them to strengthen an active innovation ecosystem, which is a reference at a national level, according to the analysis “Innovation in the Valencian Community”, prepared by the Coordinating Institute of Governance and Applied Economics.

Among the “countless advantages” of these towns compared to other destinations are the climate, infrastructure, quality of life or talent, among others, but, “above all, a business and entrepreneurial fabric with a great capacity for adaptation and dynamics,” according to the analysis.
