Valencia consolidates itself as the cradle of ‘startups’ and calls for investment to retain companies

València wants to be a city where the founders of startups come to install their companies and so it was claimed this Wednesday at the Valencia Digital Summit. The central event of Valencia Startup Week, held at the Palau de Les Arts, brought together more than 500 attendees from across the national ecosystem among entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, investors, startups, accelerators, institutions and universities.

From the Valencian Association of Startups put on the table the good data of the evolution of the sector in the city, as the growth in direct employment generated by these companies and already exceeds 4,500 people, 125% more than the previous year. The numbers also show the position of Valencia as a driving force behind companies, with the highest density of startups per capita in Spain.
