A Valencian laboratory receives daily requests from Amazon suppliers around the world to help them meet the requirements demanded by the platform since this month. After giving a year to adapt, and rewarding those manufacturers who voluntarily joined the so-called ‘easy package’ program, the giant penalizes with 1.7 euros each product sold without fulfilling its plan, aimed at reducing the volume of packaging used and improving the shopping experience with easy-to-open and 100% recyclable systems.
This is the Technological Institute of Packaging, Logistics and Transportation (Itene), designated as a member of the Amazon Packaging Support and Supplier Network (Apass) and the first authorized in Spain to perform the packaging tests according to the protocol set to sell through of the online platform.
