The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has held, together with EIT-Health and with the support of the Regional Ministry of Sustainable Economy, the conferences corresponding to the Innovation Days 2020 (i-Days) within the programme that covers events in 22 countries throughout Europe, where the aim is to promote innovation and entrepreneurship through innovative solutions to real challenges in the health sector.
The event, in which 147 participants of 16 different nationalities registered, crowned the prize for the most innovative solution to the project ‘Doggy: the lovin’ Smart Pet’, a proposal to monitor and care for vulnerable groups through interactive robotic pets. The proposals ‘My Diet App’ (which also won the audience award for best presentation) and ‘Hormbrush’ won second and third prize, respectively.
