The University of Valencia (UV) intends to promote a business chair on the Agenda 2030 to train the Valencian productive fabric in sustainability and thus enable its transformation towards a more environmentally sensitive model.
This was confirmed by the Vice President for Equality, Diversity and Sustainability of the UV, Elena Martínez, during the Efe Dialogues “Sustainability, a common goal that cannot be postponed”, held at the headquarters of the Adeit University-Business Foundation with the participation of the Head of Communication, Institutional Relations and Sustainability of Coca-Cola in the Valencian Community, Fernando Álvarez, and the Director of External Relations of Consumers, Francisco Javier Quiles.
As Martínez explained, the germ of this chair arises both from the interest of Valencian companies in moving towards a more sustainable business model and from the need to make visible “the actions that the university has in this area” and which could be relevant for the Valencian business fabric, “always from the perspective of technology at the service of social and environmental sustainability”.
