Automated, cordless refrigerator for transporting medicines and food is created

A refrigerator that works without electrical cables and is able to self-regulate the temperature so as not to break the cold chain in the transport of food and even sensitive medicines such as vaccines. This is the development that has made the Valencian startup BiofreshTech with the aim of improving the logistics of both retail and pharmaceutical sector.

This system has two patents: on the one hand, the chemical formulation to create a product with properties that allow cold storage, explains Javier Guillén, Director of R&D, to INNOVATORS. This gel, he stresses, is harmless to health and is not contaminating.
