Increasing the number of companies and their average size are other challenges of the productive system of the Region, which presents a low level of added value generated by companies located in the territory regardless of the activity sector to which they belong, which determines a per capita income and average salaries that are also low, and an insufficient productive capacity to absorb the available active population.
