«From Valencia we work to make the female talent of our city visible and to strengthen it»

The Deputy Mayor of Valencia, Sandra Gomez, has participated in ‘Extraordinary Women’, an event organized yesterday afternoon by the City of Valencia, through València Activa, with Jeff and Startup Valencia to enhance the work of Valencian professionals, which explained the commitment of the council to make visible the female talent of our city and strengthen it through various services and programs.

During the meeting, Sandra Gómez defended the need to hold events like this one, «where public administrations and the private sector work hand in hand to make Valencian women who are a reference in their fields visible». «Our girls need references, a mirror in which to look at themselves to achieve what they set out to do. If they see that other women have achieved their objectives, it is easier for them to go down that road and achieve their goals. We need girls – and women in general – to set no limits on ourselves so that we can move forward and build a more equal society,» said Ms. Gomez.
