From Bioncotech to Columbus: the incredible business journey of scientist Damià Tormo

Second episode of the second season of the weekly podcast presented by Estefanía Pastor. In it we interview Damià Tormo, founder in series of companies like Bioncotech (Valencia) or Artax Biopharma (Boston). After his business journey, this scientist decided to set up the Columbus Ventures venture capital fund with the intention of financing biotechnology companies.

With a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Valencia and a PhD in Immunology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Bonn (Germany), his work as a researcher has been focused on identifying real medical needs and finding solutions to ailments such as cancer or autoimmune diseases.
