Eleven Valencian professionals in the field of innovation have set up a forum for reflection and debate on the conditions for developing technological improvement processes under the name of the Innovation Studies Circle. A forum in which this Promotion Group will participate together with a discussion team made up of representatives of the Valencian Innovation System and the Valencian Community Citizens’ Associations, according to the organisation.
The idea came about in March of this year from the former director of the Institute of Biomechanics (IBV) Pedro Vera and the doctor of agricultural engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia Sebastián Subirats, who considered that innovation processes have a “wide margin” for improvement, as Vera himself commented to Valencia Plaza. The ex-director stresses, in turn, that these processes must be understood as “the application of knowledge to improve goods and services”.
