Investments in Valencian startups grow 62%.

Investments in startups in the Valencia Region grew by 62% in 2018 with 125 operations. Lanzadera, Juan Roig’s accelerator, is behind half of these operations, according to a report by Web Capital Riesgo to which Levante-EMV has had access. The accelerator located in Marina de Empresas financially supported 67 emerging companies last year. Sources of Shuttle said that this year have granted funding and have invested about 1.7 million euros in 69 companies (including those owned by Angels, Roig’s investment arm in startups).
