More than 450 speakers and 15,000 attendees from 120 countries will gather at the Webit Festival 2020, which will be held in La Marina de València from 17 to 20 June. Autonomous and flying vehicles, human-looking robots, virtual reality, biotechnology, augmented reality and state-of-the-art artificial intelligence applications will be some of the novelties presented at the event, considered “one of the largest technological events on innovation and digitalisation in the world”, the organisation points out in a press release.
More than 15,000 people from 120 different countries, 1,500 companies and startups, more than 450 international speakers, more than 500 investors and journalists from international media are expected to attend the festival, as was the case in the last edition, held last May in Sofia (Bulgaria).
The event will be a meeting point between emerging companies and top level investors and political managers, as it is one of the few events in the world with 73% of attendees in top level positions. During the event, the Founders Games will be held, a competition in which 200 startups selected from over 4,000 applicants participate each year. The winner, examined by major investors and business leaders, will receive a prize of one million dollars to promote their project.
