David Pistoni, from Zeleros, wins the European innovation award

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology has announced this year’s winners of the prestigious EIT Awards. David Pistoni Pérez, Zeleros (Spain), Sara Guimarães Gonçalves, Trigger.Systems (Portugal), Michael Dittel, LeafTech (Germany), Marc Julien, Diabeloop (France) and Matthew Dickson, CorPower Ocean (Sweden / United Kingdom) obtained the maximum award for innovation in the fields of climate, energy and health.

David Pistoni Pérez, Zeleros (Spain), from the hand of the EIT Climate-KIC community, received the EIT Public Award. This award recognizes the best innovation in the opinion of the audience, with thousands of votes cast throughout Europe. «The EIT is the perfect gateway to bring a disruptive innovation project like ours to the European level,» says David Pistoni, also a finalist for the EIT Venture Award. Lynette Kucsma, resident in Spain, of the company Natural Machines, was also one of the finalists for the EIT Public Award.
