EIT Food challenges Valencia to transform the food system for a weekend

The agri-food industry faces numerous challenges that require innovation to transform its systems; among them, the circular economy. The European consortium EIT Food, which works to make the food system more sustainable, healthy and reliable, poses a new challenge in Valencia for people who want to be part of this process: the #EITFoodCircular Economy challenge.

The proposal of EIT Food, in collaboration with Naked Innovations and the Polytechnic University of Valencia, takes the form of ‘Challenge Lab’ and will take place in the Polytechnic City of Innovation (CPI) from November 8 to 10. The meeting focuses on a complex issue: how to build a circular food economy that encompasses the food supply chain and leads to a more sustainable system with zero waste.
